COMCAST SPORTSNET WEST BEGINS NEW SPONSORSHIP AND
ADVERTISING PARTNERSHIP WITH ATWELL MEDIA SERVICES
SACRAMENTO, CA (December 13, 2006) – Comcast SportsNet West has announced a new partnership with Atwell Media Services, a Sacramento-based media placement firm that will represent the regional sports network in advertising and sponsorship acquisitions.
“As we continue to build our network, we have teamed up with Atwell Media Services in order to enhance our sponsorship and advertising opportunities,” said Comcast SportsNet Vice President and General Manager Larry Eldridge. “Together we plan on creating some unique and compelling sponsorship programs that will provide great value to our clients.”

Comcast SportsNet West currently televises more than 50 regular season games for the NBA’s Sacramento Kings, with all home games produced in high definition. Additional programming includes warm-up and wrap-up game shows for the Kings, WNBA basketball featuring the Sacramento Monarchs, an extensive lineup of live collegiate and high school events, and compelling regional sports news and magazine shows.
Comcast SportsNet currently consists of regional sports networks serving the Philadelphia, Washington, Baltimore, Chicago, and Northern and Central California television markets. In addition, Comcast SportsNet manages SportsNet New York, the mtn., and CSS. Together, the networks reach approximately 27 million households providing local sports coverage, including live game action for the NHL’s Philadelphia Flyers, Washington Capitals, and Chicago Blackhawks; the NBA’s Philadelphia 76ers, Washington Wizards, Chicago Bulls, and Sacramento Kings; and MLB’s Philadelphia Phillies, Chicago Cubs, Chicago White Sox, and New York Mets.
